Balloon Sports
Here's a lovely way you can use a balloon for some activity. The best part is that it works indoors, so you can do it in the evenings, in your bedroom, when it's too windy outside, or when it's raining. All you need is a balloon! Give this Montessori Balloon Sports a try:It's so important to keep your body moving every day for health. Did you know that scientists recommend that children your age should have at least an hour of exercise every day?
Sports Cube
One fun idea is to make a cube with exercise ideas on each face. You can then roll the dice and choose the exercise to do. Here's a link to a website where you can print out the net of a cube. Some ideas to add to your exercise dice include: jump, hop, skip, star jumps, arm circles, running on the spot, squats, waddle like a penguin, dance. You could write words or draw pictures. You could put a number too, for example, 10 squats or 20 star jumps. Underneath is an example of one we've been using.

Start a Gratitude Journal. It could be a small notebook, a poster, or anything else you choose. Write down three things every day that you are grateful for.
Gratitude journaling has been linked to better performance in the classroom as well as a reduction of stress outside of learning environments.
Thank you so much for this xxx
